Great news everyone!

I figured out how to fill my "Click Or Drag" Quick Pockets templates with colors!

This will make it easier to see the different layouts available.  I have refreshed my website and social media with the new and improved colored templates.  The colored templates still work the same as the plain gray templates but my Marketing Consultant (aka my husband) suggested I color them to make them easier to view.

Everyone who purchased the original gray templates were emailed a refreshed download with the colored templates.  If you downloaded the gray "Freebie" template, please feel free to download the refreshed colored "Freebie" available by clicking here.

Enjoy!

I met Jenni while working on the Adobe Prerelease Team for Photoshop Elements 15.  I really admire her work and am thrilled to have her design the first pages for my blog and Facebook Page using my new "Click or Drag" Quick pockets templates!  Her photos are stunning and her page design is beautiful!  Thank you Jenni!

Jenni Moffatt known in the digi world as Ozegirl. Australian of course. Started as a traditional paper scrapper and moved into the digital scrapping world 10 years ago.  One of the reasons I love digital scrapping is the ability to learn continually – I am sure that I learn something new almost daily and certainly often scrap outside the box, experimenting with filters and actions and I must add that I love templates LOL!

I have been privileged to be on the Pre-release Program for Adobe Photoshop Elements and am so excited about the new additions PSE 15 has. One of the most exciting for digital scrapbookers was the request by Laurie Callison to be able to make and save your own Frames.  The Frame Creator evolved and we are now able to “Click or Drag” our photos into our digital scrapbook pages without using clipping masks. Laurie designed pocket templates with this feature and digital scrapping could not be easier. This feature alone will revolutionize the way we scrap the important events in our lives.

I CT for The Digichick and am on Kimeric Kreations personal team as well as CT’ing for Tracey Monette of Clever Monkey Graphics. I do not have a ‘’style’’ but am a clutterer by heart. For me personally these templates will have a two-fold purpose – not only will I be able to fill the templates quickly and easily, home print @ 8 x8 for my albums, they will also serve as a hands on visual for my 12 x 12 cluttered layouts, which often feature lots of elements as well as precious photos.

Thank you Laurie…and thank you the Adobe Team for making this edition, Photoshop Elements 15 so very exciting!

Welcome to my Blog!

Laurie at https://lauriecallison.com

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my new blog and website.  I am excited to share my latest experience of working with Photoshop Elements 15 with you!

Some of you may know me from my previous endeavors.  I have been a digital scrapbook template designer since 2008.  I started my own design business, "Laurie Callison's Visual Vocabulary" eight years ago.  After that I became a member of the Creative Memories digital design team and was a member of their software beta testing team, working with their software developers.  Following the demise of  Creative Memories, Panstoria hired me to design the page layout templates that were included in Panstoria's Artisan software.  I also beta tested and designed layout templates for Panstoria.  In 2013 I became a Mac user and since Panstoria's software was designed for the PC, I decided to see what other options were available for digital scrapbooking.  After trying just about everything available, I re-descovered Photoshop Elements.

I have been working with Adobe for the last nine months as a member of their software Prerelease Team.  It has been a fun and rewarding experience!  In January of 2016 I submitted a feature request to Adobe to be able to make "Frames" that you may "Click or Drag" your photos into without using clipping masks. Adobe invited me to help test and develop the new feature!  I believe this is a revolutionary new development that will simplify designing digital scrapbook pages and photobooks.  My "Click or Drag" templates are designed using the new "Frame Creator" feature that is new in Photoshop Elements 15.  Instead of clipping photos and papers to shapes you simply either "Click" on the opening and select your .jpg or you may "Drag" your .jpg into the opening.  The templates may be used in earlier versions of Photoshop Elements. (Tested in versions 13,14)  Please Note: The templates do not work with the full version of Photoshop.

I am so excited about the "Click or Drag" templates that I want to share them with the world!  I designed this website and blog by myself.  It will evolve and new products will be added on a ongoing basis.  Make sure to download the "Freebie" template and try this new concept for yourself!

What are “Click or Drag” Templates for Photoshop Elements?

I have been working with Adobe's Prerelease team for the last nine months.  I submitted a feature request to Adobe to be able to make "Frames" that you may "Click or Drag" your photos into without using clipping masks.

The first set of templates in my shop are Quick Pocket" pages.  They are similar to other pocket pages available on the market today, but you do not have to use clipping masks!

I invite you to watch my YouTube video for a visual demonstration of how easy it is to use these new templates.  Then, download the "Freebie" template and try it yourself!
